Writing Tips

In this section, I will be adding a new writing tip when one comes to mind and I believe that it may be useful information for others to know. You can also see some more writing tips on my podcast Creative Writing Club. I wish you luck!

  1. Don’t Read Your First Few Works

Unless you’re a narcissist, I’d highly recommend not reading your first few works. By the time you get to work on your third story, then you may have improved enough to read your first two stories. I’m saying this because if I had read my first novel when I was first writing it and decided to edit it throughout the time, I would’ve given up a long time ago. It was absolutely terrible, and nothing compared to the skill level of my third novel. So with an immense warning, do NOT read your first few stories. Write a lot and improve your craft, then go back and edit.
